This morning Alex & I did her speech homework from Heidi. We worked on possessives. "Whose book is this?" "The girl's book." Things like that. I thought it was cute because one question was, "Whose house is this?" The answer was, "The dog's house." Alex articulated the 's' on dog's, and then she made a point to articulate the 'h' on house. Just like she and Heidi have been working on. Then we worked on these/they. "They are books. These are books." And so on.
After that we looked at their newest Highlight's magazine. We read the poems and stories and looked at the pictures. The Hidden Pictures in Highlights are really difficult. I have to help Alex find the hidden objects. They also have a section with a picture and you are supposed to find the silly things... like tennis balls on the pizza, or the girl wearing a super hero outfit.
This afternoon Emma had PT and Alex had ST, OT & PT.
Tomorrow we are going to the Dogwood festival with Lisa and her girls.
