This morning we did a little bit of workbook time, but attention for that was in short supply, so we went on to flash cards. We went through the alphabet one letter at a time, first upper case & then lower case, and said the letter, sound it makes and a word that starts with it. Then we talked about vowels, it was such a hoot to hear both the girls saying a-e-i-o-u! I'm hoping that all this repetition will help with letter recognition. Tonight as we were getting ready for bed Alex pointed out that JoJo (Disney) was on her shirt. I said, "Yes, and JoJo starts with the letter J. J, J, JoJo." She looked at me and said, "J, J, Jelly Beans." Yeah! She is getting it!
We also went for a walk at the park today, the girls love the stroller. It is fun to point out different things like the sound the water makes, the birds chirping, etc.
Both the girls also like to count everything... pictures in magazines, Toto's ears, anything.
Alex had PT this afternoon, Emma's OT was canceled because Daryl was out sick.
